RAISING A READER ENTERS KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE CLASSROOMS!   Welcome Two Rivers Community School, Basalt Elementary School and Wamsley Elementary School – our newest kindergarten classrooms. Raising A Reader Aspen to Parachute is now helping Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms foster reading success. Book bags contain read-aloud titles AND first-reader books. Parents learn how to help with the learn-to-read process and are reminded that reading aloud is still important in the K-1 years. 
OUR MISSION is to foster early literacy bonds between children and their parents to ensure that all young children from Aspen to Parachute develop a love of books and the skills to become successful readers.
